HelixScribe Workspace · Your data and control
Your workspace, with your organisation in mind.
A practical approach to information, existing systems and future needs.
HelixScribe Workspace is being developed to help organisations bring together information, activities and everyday processes.
Choosing software for an organisation involves more than considering its features. It's also important to understand how it fits with existing systems, how information is managed and what happens when requirements change.
We think those questions deserve straightforward answers.
Your organisation's information
Workspace can bring together different types of organisational information, including contacts, enquiries, bookings and other records.
We recognise that this information is important to the people and organisations responsible for it.
Using Workspace does not automatically transfer ownership of your original content or organisational records to HelixScribe. The relevant rights and responsibilities depend on the information involved, applicable law and the agreed terms.
The Workspace application and its underlying software are separate from the information entered into it.
Accessing and using your data
Being able to access organisational information is an important consideration when choosing software.
Workspace includes administrative functionality for managing records, with export options depending on the version and features available.
Where CSV exports are supported, they provide a way to download relevant records in a format commonly used by spreadsheets and other systems.
Different types of information may require different approaches. An export of records does not necessarily include the application's settings, integrations, files or underlying software.
If your organisation has particular requirements for accessing or transferring information, these can be discussed before implementation.
Working with what you already use
Many organisations already rely on websites, email accounts, document storage, spreadsheets and other services.
We consider how Workspace can fit alongside these tools and whether existing functionality can be used effectively.
Sometimes connecting or improving an existing process makes more sense than replacing it.
Where external services are involved, their own access controls, licensing and technical capabilities remain relevant.
Hosting, domain management, backups and other infrastructure arrangements depend on the setup agreed for your organisation.
Thinking about the future
Organisations change. Teams develop, processes are updated and new requirements emerge.
When planning an organisational implementation, we can consider how information is managed, which systems are involved and what might be needed if arrangements change.
Depending on the project, this could include discussing documentation, data exports, administrative access or potential handover requirements.
Any additional development, support or handover work would be considered within an agreed scope.
A straightforward working relationship
We want organisations to feel comfortable asking questions about the technology they use.
That includes questions about functionality, limitations, existing systems, responsibilities and future requirements.
We believe these conversations are most useful when they happen early, allowing practical arrangements to be understood before important decisions are made.
Workspace is developed by HelixScribe, with an emphasis on useful functionality, considered development and clear communication.
Let's discuss what your organisation needs
If you're exploring Workspace, we'd be happy to learn more about how your organisation works and what you're hoping to improve.
We can explain the available functionality, discuss your existing systems and consider which approach would make sense for your requirements.
